The Allflex EID FDX (Full Duplex) electronic tags are designed for optimum security, retention and usability. These electronic tags include transponder numbers laser-marked on the tag. The tags are a single-use, and made of durable hard plastic with a tamperproof cap. Features Full Duplex Technology, (FDX). Includes buttons.
The tag is yellow and 1.20'' Dia. X .17" thick and weighs 5.6gms.
FDX technology allows an immediate return signal as the beginning of the interrogation signal is received and the smoothing capacitor in the transponder has been charged. The return signal is received repetitively and without interruption for as long as a continuous interrogation signal is maintained. An FDX transponder doesn't have to store energy to be able to return its data signal.
